He started Summit Lake Digital to bring that founder’s discipline to the Databricks ecosystem — engagements led by someone who has sat in the operator’s seat, where architecture decisions are judged by the business outcomes they produce, not the slideware they generate.

Scott joins Summit Lake Digital from Monks, where as Global VP of Salesforce he ran the global Salesforce P&L — owning the practice from go-to-market through delivery inside one of the industry’s largest digital services firms. At Summit Lake he owns the Databricks co-sell motion end to end, from field alignment with account executives to pipeline development across Financial Services, Manufacturing, Retail, and CPG.

His focus is making Summit Lake the easiest partner call an AE can make: engagements scoped around consumption growth, renewal confidence, and outcomes the account team can take straight to their customer.

Bill is Chairman of the Society for Information Management (SIM) SPARC, with more than 40 years of information technology and operations leadership. A longtime adjunct professor at Northwestern University — where he taught Summit Lake’s founder — he has also taught at Harvard and Clark University and chaired the Illinois Technology Foundation.

His depth of IT domain knowledge, strategic thinking, and CIO relationships help ensure Summit Lake stays true to its mission.
